The cabin lies where the Kokořínsko region meets Máchův kraj, on the shore of Milčanský pond. You can head out on a trip at any time of year, straight from the cabin door or further afield. Our favourites are walks around the Holany ponds and sunsets at Dolanský pond.

  • The Holany ponds

    A chain of ponds surrounded by pine forest that you can walk around straight from the cabin. It is most beautiful early in the morning, when mist hangs over the water, and in the evening at sunset by Dolanský pond.

  • Stone bridge by Mlýnský pond 677 m

    The nearest place for a walk, just a short way from the cabin. Ideal for a quick morning or evening stroll.

  • Malý Vlhošť and its rock passage 3 km

    A sandstone hill where the path leads right through the rock. A half-day trip, also suitable for older, active children.

  • Pavlínino údolí valley 3 km

    A quiet valley lined with sandstone rocks, where you will meet only a few people.

  • Smrtka viewpoint 3 km

    A rocky viewpoint overlooking the Kokořínsko landscape.

When to come?

In spring and autumn, the trails are almost empty. Summer is all about the water, the boat and the paddleboard. Winter means walks through the snowy forest and evenings by the fireplace.
